Returning again to book series, Undelivered Lectures is a collection of (so far) seven book-length essays that address a variety of nonfictional topics. Fittingly, it begins with Mary Cappello’s Lecture, described as ‘a song for the forgotten art of the lecture.’ From there, we are presented with this diverse range of titles: Stranger Faces (Namwali Serpell), Migratory Birds (Mariana Oliver), Aftermath (Preti Taneja), My Life as a Godard Movie (Joanna Walsh), The Wilderness (Ayşegül Savaş), and Immemorial (Lauren Markham). Tho these volumes are all in some way ‘narrative’ essays, we can gather from the titles that there are hardly any confines for an appropriate theme/subject.
Submissions are available between May 1-June 15, as can be seen here: https://www.transitbooks.org/undeliveredlectures
